With proclamation 5847 on August 19th, 1988, President Ronald Reagan officially declared August 21st as a day reserved to remember the fiber and backbone of our world.

This holiday is the perfect day to think of your close elder, grandparent, local veteran or long time friend. Give them a gift and thank them for being who they are and for their accomplishments and contributions.
