Hammock Day is a day to celebrate by relaxing in the backyard hammock and enjoying the warm summer day. Hammocks originated in Central America over 1000 years ago, and for three centuries the US Navy used hammocks for sailors to sleep on. So, with such a vast history let us all honor the hammock by kicking back with our favorite umbrella drink and relaxing the day away.
