Isn't it appropriate that this day fall just a couple of days after Christmas. Giving fruitcake for Christmas is a tradition for some, some people will even eat fruitcake. However, many "re-gift" the fruitcakes they receive for Christmas. There's are joke that somewhere out there is a 100 year old fruitcake that just keeps getting passed around. Celebrate Fruitcake Day by either eating some of the fruitcake you received for Christmas or give someone a fruitcake.
