World Kindness Day is a holiday to be kind to others. This date was picked to celebrate this holiday because in 1998 it was the opening day of the first World Kindness Movement conference held in Tokyo and the 35th anniversary of the Small Kindness Movement of Japan. This holiday is celebrated worldwide and is a day to commit random acts of kindness.

Pay for somebodies meal at a restaurant without them knowing
Bake some treats and take them to a local police or fire station, or hospital
Visit an assisted living home spend time with them talking or playing a game
