Newspaper Carrier Day is set aside to honor anyone and everyone who is or has been a newspaper carrier. Maybe not a day for everyone, but definitely a day to thank your newspaper person.

This day is actually the anniversary of the very first paperboy hired in 1833. His name was Barney Flaherty. He was 10 years old when he answered the ad in the New York Sun. Wake up early and give your paper delivery person a small token of your appreciation.
