National Drive-Thru Day encourages people to take advantage of the convenience of the drive-thru. People go to many types of drive-thrus like the bank, coffee shop, dry cleaner, fast food restaurant, liquor store, pharmacy, and even to get married (in Las Vegas of course). In-n-out Burger claims to have built the first drive-thru restaurant in 1948. Other sources claim Jack in the Box was the first major fast food restaurant to have a drive-thru. So today, leave your pajamas on, bring your dog, and get some food fast.
