About the Holiday
Most people's initial reaction to Reptile Awareness Day is I'm plenty aware of snakes and lizard and I'd like to keep my distance. Though, without these helpers in our eco-system, there'd be plenty more rats, mice and bugs. And, don't forget about turtles or the Geico gecco which are also reptiles, and by most people's definition, plenty likable.
