About the Holiday

Today is Mad Hatter Day a day set aside to celebrate silliness. This day to act silly was chosen because illustrations from the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland shows the character "The Mad Hatter" with a slip of paper in his hat that says 10/6, which actually is the price of the hat. This holiday originated in 1986 in Boulder, CO with a group of computer people that had nothing better to do than create a silly holiday. Today is a day to celebrate by acting silly and maybe talking the entire day in riddles.
