Best Friend Day is the day to honor those you call your "best friend." Whether your best friend is girl or boy or furry with four legs, letting them know they special is important. Besides, they are the one you turn to when your down, or when you need something and they always seem to come through with whatever you need. You spend time with them and share many secrets and adventures. As we grow older best friends may come and go but once your a best friend, you are usually a best friend for life.

Another holiday related to friends is Friendship Day which is celebrated on the first Sunday in August.
