King Tut Day celebrates the discovery of the tomb of Egyptian King Tutankhamen in 1922. The tomb found in the Valley of the Kings was a remarkable discovery being almost fully intact, the most complete ancient Egyptian tomb found. King Tut was only 9 years old when he became ruler of Egypt he died at the age of 19.
