Kindergarten Day is in honor of the creator, Friedrich Froebel, who was born on this day in 1782. In 1837, Froebel started the first Kindergarten in Germany. Since that time Kindergarten has increased in popularity with the increased importance on education and more working mothers. This time is exciting and scary for both mom and child. Celebrate the day remembering your first day of kindergarten.
