National Gummi Worm Day is a day set aside to celebrate a delicious soft, rubbery candy that comes in the shape of worms. Gummi candies originated from Germany from the Haribo company back in 1922, but it wasn't until 1981 that the Trolli company introduced Gummi worms. Celebrate this day by enjoying and creating recipes with these yummy candies. Squirmy sweet delight!
