About the Holiday

Give Kids A Smile Day was created by the American Dental Association (ADA) in 2003 with the goal of enhancing oral health for needy children and eliminating cavities in kids by the year 2020. On this day, thousands of the nation's dentists will hold free oral examinations and services to children of low income families.
