[edit] Who is it For

Recipes.jpg

This makes a great gift for newlyweds just starting out.

[edit] What to Do

For newlyweds, you could ask each member of the family to provide 5-10 of their favorite recipes. These can then be printed on note cards, or even entered into a computer to make a booklet.

This idea could also work well for Mom or Grandma who may have her favorite recipes scattered in many different places. In this case, you probably won't need to ask other family members to contribute their favorites as Mom or Grandma already likely have plenty. In this case, the gift is get all of their recipes organized in on place.

A nice touch would be to go with the bound booklet with a nice cover. Keep all of the computer/printer files handy so they can still add recipes over the years. And, this way you can have more copies printed for them, if they want to give their personalized cookbooks away as gifts to others in the future.
