Today is Buy Nothing Day though not an official holiday it is day to fight against the consumerism of the holidays and is celebrated by people not shopping for 24 hours. This anti-shopping holiday is celebrated on the Friday after Thanksgiving in the States and in the rest of the world on Saturday, and is a day to take it easy and spend time with family and friends. So sit back and relax and laugh at the crazy people getting out of bed before dawn chasing down the sales on Black Friday.
